Welcome to the #RollForADay challenge! In honor of International Wheelchair Day, March 1, 2025, we challenge you to spend a day in a wheelchair during the month of March. We all have different abilities, and it is our goal to foster a greater sense of unity and compassion for others who are differently-abled.
How It Works
- Take the Challenge Participants commit to spending a full day in a wheelchair during the month of March, navigating daily tasks such as working, shopping, and socializing. Participants are encouraged to navigate their homes as well as two other locations including their work, school, local store, library, restaurant, etc.
- Share Your Experience Post videos, photos, and reflections about the experience on social media using the hashtag #RollForADay to raise awareness.
- Donate & Nominate
- Donate to an organization supporting people with disabilities (e.g., wheelchair accessibility projects, adaptive sports, mobility aid funds). Below are local and national suggestions.
- Tag three friends on social media to nominate them within the next 7 days to take the challenge.
