Harmar hoists and inside lifts are mounted in the vehicle’s cargo area with a hoist mechanism that swings outside the vehicle to load and lift the mobility device into the vehicle.
Hoists and inside lifts are ideal for vans, SUVs, and other vehicles with ample cargo space.

Operation Difficulty: Moderate + — What Does This Mean?

The operator should be able to:

  • walk from the front to the rear of the vehicle and back.
  • stand for up to three minutes while the lift operates.
  • attach docking device to mobility device.
  • fold down the seatback of the mobility device or scooter tiller until it is in its most compact position.
  • apply pressure to hold down a button on the handheld control while the lift operates.
  • guide the mobility device to avoid interference while raising, rotating, and entering the vehicle through a complete lift cycle.
  • exercise, if necessary, bending over or kneeling, adequate hand dexterity, and balance and strength to attach the docking device.

AL425HD is the industry’s first 450 lb hoist lift that offers powered lifting and rotation functions that reduces effort to load a large variety of power chairs 400 lbs or greater. Ideal for pick-up trucks and full size vans.

Adjustable limit switches automatically stop rotation to prevent contact with your vehicle. Variable column height, arm adjustments and adjustable base ensure custom fit.
